June 21 : the fourth yoga day is being celebrated worldwide. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called upon the United Nations General Assembly to celebrate Yoga Day on September 27, 2014 around the world. The announcement of International Yoga Day was a great moment for India because the UN General Assembly announced its event within just three months of its arrival. The General Assembly announced on December 11, 2014 that the day of June 21 will be celebrated as Yoga Day in the world.
Almost all the countries of the world have organized the International Yoga Day, and people of more than 170 countries of the world celebrate on June 21 as World Yoga Day and take a vow to make yoga a part of their daily routine. Yoga training camps, yoga exercises and collective yoga are used to increase awareness about the benefits of yoga throughout the world on this day.
There is also a special reason for opting for the World Yoga Day on June 21. Actually this day is the longest day of the Northern Hemisphere, which can also be called Summer Sankranthi. From the perspective of Indian culture, after the summer solstice, the sun gets solved and the sun’s duskanaan time is very beneficial in achieving spiritual accomplishments. Since this day is celebrated on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call throughout the world, he himself plays a proportionate share in this event and the main event of this day is organized in his leadership.
On the fourth international Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done yoga postures with thousands of people in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun. The Prime Minister joined the Yoga program in Dehradun. At the same time there will be programs in Vice President Mumbai and the place of common people also made yoga.
