The Indian women team has been announced for the ICC Women’s Twenty20 World Cup in West Indies on Friday. Jemima Rodriguez of Mumbai has got an opportunity in this team announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Harmanpreet Kaur is going to lead the 15-member team, while the memory of Maharashta Maharaj will take over as the vice-captain.

The sixth Women’s Twenty20 World Cup will be played in the West Indies between November 9 and 24. In this tournament, India will face Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Ireland in Pool B. The Indian team is going to play New Zealand on November 9 at Guyana.
