New Delhi: 28 June :- The terrorist organization is recruiting a large number of children to carry out suicide attacks. The special thing is that most of the children recruited in these organizations are from Pakistan. This has been revealed in a recent UN report. It has been said in the report that the children to be included in such organization are mainly studying in madarsas. The annual report of the UN General Secretary released in the name of ‘Children and Armed Conflict’ states that Pakistan-based terrorist organizations have released videos that provide training to children on suicide attacks.
It is worth mentioning that the report is from January to December 2017. This report says that the United Nations has consistently received news about the allegations of the recruitment and use of children by armed groups in Pakistan for suicidal attacks. In January Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan released a video in which children including girls are being taught how suicidal attacks are conducted.
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Gatorase said that he is concerned about continuous attacks on schools by armed groups, especially targeting girls’ education. He told the Pakistani government that he would set the priorities of the steps to prevent attacks on schools in the future. Age-related data is limited in relation to the killing of civilians, but reports of children being killed and wounded have been consistent in the attacks of armed groups. It was mentioned in the suicide attack in Sindh province of Sindh province that killed at least 75 people, including 20 children.
The report said that news reports of eight attacks on educational establishments and students were received. Four attacks were done by targeting girls’ education. It was reported in the report that this month a girls’ girls school in Balochistan’s Kill Abdullah was blown away by explosives. Taliban militants had killed at least 150 people, mostly children, in December 2014 by attacking a public school in Peshawar, a military-run army.
