07 July :- England, who are in form in the third quarter finals of the FIFA World Cup, have made the semi-finals of the match by defeating Sweden 2-0. In the semifinal match to be held on Wednesday, England will face the winner of the final quarter-finals between Croatia and Mezaban Russia.

The English team reached the semi-finals for the first time since 1990. The English team has managed to reach the final-4 of this prestigious tournament after 28 years of long wait. England had reached the semi-finals in the World Cup in Italy in 1990.

One minute before the end of the first half, Stirling got the chance to double England’s edge, but he could not save Olson in the box.
The second half started well for Sweden and in the 47th minute Marcus Berg tried to score a goal by putting a header from inside the box but he could not distinguish the young goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
England got out soon after the shock and in the 59th minute Lingard gave the best cross from the box, on which Daley Eli doubled his team’s lead by scoring a header.
After this, Sweden got the chance to reduce England’s lead in the 62nd and 72st minutes, but both times Pickford defended the best and gave his team a memorable win.
