Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Party Chairman Imran Khan will be sworn in as Prime Minister on August 18 after celebrating Independence. The date of their swearing-in ceremony has been fixed. Earlier, PTI nominated Imran Khan for the post of Prime Minister. This decision was taken at the meeting of the party’s parliamentary committee in Islamabad’s private hotel.

When nominated for the post of Prime Minister, Imran Khan thanked the party for convincing him. On Friday, PTI spokesman Faisal Javed Khan announced that Imran Khan’s swearing-in ceremony will be held on August 18. There will be other participants including Kapil Dev and Navjot Sidhu

Tell us that the 65-year-old cricketer-turned politician Imran Khan’s party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf emerged as the largest party in the general elections held on July 25. After this, PTI claimed that it had at least 180 support in Pakistan’s 342-member National Assembly. These 342 seats include 272 seats for which the general elections were held on July 25. Apart from this, 60 seats in the National Assembly are reserved for women and 10 seats for religious minorities. Any party in Pakistan can form a government only if it has a total of 172 seats.
