Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh and parts of Jammu and Kashmir experienced a low-intensity earthquake shock. Meanwhile, there is no news of any loss of life and financial loss due to earthquake.

Director of the Meteorological Center, Simla, said that a quake measuring 3.4 on the Richter Scale hit 12.35 minutes. The epicenter of this earthquake was centered around 10 km from the ground in the northeast of Chamba district. Most parts of Himachal, including Chamba, come into the area of susceptible to earthquakes. There are always mild baffle of earthquakes in this area.
Jammu and Kashmir felt a mild earthquake on Thursday morning. 3.2 This was the shock of the Richter Scale. According to the information provided by the Disaster Relief Officer, there is no news of any live and financial loss. The earthquake felt at 8.43 in the morning.
