The consistent decline in rupee and the cost of crude oil in the international market has resulted in fuel prices. Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum have broken the process of reviewing fuel prices on 1st and 16th of every month in June last year. Since then, the process of taking a review of the fuel tank is going on at 6 am every morning. Accordingly, new fuel prices have been announced.
From the hike of petrol and diesel, the Modi government is being criticized by the whole of the government. Congress has called for a bandh call on September 10 against fuel prices.
