Paris:01 June :- Marin Chile, Dominic Them, Maria Sharapova, Gurbin Mugguja and Caroline Wozniacki, who were eager to win the title, got third place in the French Open tennis tournament. Rafael Nadal, who had a ‘red clay pitcher’, went on to win a whirlwind victory. India’s Yuki Bhambri and Divij Sharan also maintained their winning run in the doubles.
Nadal, who won 10 times in the French Tour, won 6-7, 6-1, 6-1 in Argentina’s Guido Pala. Nadal tried to save the game from guise. Guidolo’s service was hard to maintain after his quick outburst.
Third seed Chilean defeated Hubert Hukiewicz 6-2, 6-2, 6-7 (3-7), 7-5. To give an unexpected result, Thimen Stifanos defeated Tsitsipas 6-2, 2-6, 6-4, 6-4. The 12th seed Sam Quarter ended the challenge of Gilles Simone 6-1, 6-7 (3-7), 6-4, 6-1. Zucker Richard Gasket defeated Mellack Jaziri 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, 6-0 in the match. The 18th-ranked Fabio Foganani beat Elias Yemmer 6-4, 6-1, 6-2 in a clean sweep.
In the singles, Yuki, along with Divij, defeated the likes of King Raja (India) and Fabiris Martin (France) 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 in the doubles.
In the women’s third, Muguruaj won the straight sets in a 6-4, 6-3 win over Fiona Ferro. Experienced Samantha Stosur defeated Anastasia Pavlyuchenkov 6-2, 7-6 (7-1). Former champion Sharapova defeated Donna Vekik 7-5, 6-4. Second seed Caroline Wozniacki beat Georgia Garcia Lopez 6-1, 6-0. 19th seed Magdalena Rubaricano breaks Belinda Bennik’s unbeaten 6-2, 6-4 series win
