Paris:09 June :- Romanian Simona Halappan won the French Open title. Haleepan defeated American Stevens 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 in the final round. This is the first ever Grand Slam title of Halep. Earlier, Halepan had beaten the Grand Slam final of the tournament three times. However, her wins were denied. Simona Halep, who played for the first Grand Slam title and the second in the winner, got the match against Sloane Stevens. Stevens made a strong game in the first set. So Halep got a lot of tension. After losing the first set 3-6, Halepan made a strong start in the second set. Haleepan made the second set 6-4 to win the match. Winning this set boosted her confidence. The result was seen in the third set. In the third and final, Halleline did not give a chance to resist against Stevens. In the set, Halepan scored 6-1 and won the first Grand Slam title.
