After losing the first set 3-6, Halepan made a strong start in the second set. Haleepan made the second set 6-4 to win the match. Winning this set boosted her confidence. The result was seen in the third set. In the third and final, Halleline did not give a chance to resist against Stevens. In the set, Halepan scored 6-1 and won the first Grand Slam title.
