His speeches were considered very good and quality. Jawaharlal Nehru praised Vajpayee as the Prime Minister of India.
Even though the Indian Jana Sangh is a powerful constituency, the National Congress has not been able to distance itself from power. Meanwhile, the newly formed Congress (I) (Congress) (I) party came to power. Later in 1975 Indira Gandhi declared an emergency in the country. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Bhartiya Jana Sangh combine with various parties and constituents opposing the Emergency. In the meantime, he had to be imprisoned for the opposition. Vajpayee became the BJP’s first president. BJP was the strongest opposition Congressman. Although BJP supported Operation Blue-Star, the BJP also opposed the anti-Sikh riots that took place in Delhi after the assassination of Indira Gandhi’s bodyguard. In the Lok Sabha elections held after that, BJP has got only two seats. Yet the BJP remained in the mainstream of the country’s politics and Vajpayee remained the center of the party. However, the influence of Hindutva on the BJP was increasing, that is why VHP of Ram Janmabhoomi And the BJP gave voice at the political level to the RSS on the issue of RSS. This included the issue of building a Ram temple in Ayodhya. On 6th December 1992, caste violence took place in the country due to the Constitution of Vaastu Vaastav in Ayodhya.
However, the BJP has been expanding in the politics of the country. In the elections of Gujarat and Maharashtra in March 1995, the BJP won the assembly elections. In the November 1995 meeting of BJP in Bombay, Advani declared that the name of Vajpayee as the candidate for the post of PM for the 1996 Lok Sabha elections.
First phase (May 1996):
In the elections of 1996, the BJP emerged as a big party with 162 seats. The Lok Sabha hung for 1996 due to many regional parties and even a small party. As the biggest party, the BJP got an invitation to power. He took oath as Vajpayee’s prime minister. But the BJP could not get support from the other parties during the discussions in the Lok Sabha. So without taking the majority test, Vajpayee resigned in 13 days and the Vajpayee government came to power.

Between 1996 and 1998, the Third Front got two opportunities for the government to be formed. Devyagoda and Ikkumar Gujral became the Prime Minister of India. Both of these governments soon collapsed. In 1998 elections, the BJP became a strong contender and Vajpayee was sworn in as the Prime Minister. Finally, by the end of 1998, AIADMK leader Jayalalitha withdrew support to NDA. At this time, the Vajpayee government at one point of time came under the Vishwamit proposal. Opposition parties could not even form a government, and finally India again faced the parliamentary elections. At that time, Vajpayee became caretaker Prime Minister. In this second spell, Vajpayee left the mark of his own politics and strength. Some of his important decisions were as follows.

[Reference air] After the support of AIADMK, he worked as caretaker Prime Minister until October.
The introspection between the Kargil war is a testimony to Vajpayee’s strength. When Vajpayee was trying to improve relations between the two countries in Lahore, Pakistan was infiltrating Kashmir. In the winter there are high temperatures in the Kashmir Valley on the highways, with temperatures falling below 50% and both the countries are reduced. As the summer starts, the soldiers of both the countries are back in the post. But in early 1999, Pakistan has encroached upon its soldiers and officers in the vacant posts of Indians in vacant posts. Many soldiers and officials of this region had their Pakistani identity card. But India had limited the operation of Operation Vijay to the Line of Control. China refused to intervene before India’s holiness Nawaz Sharif then pleaded for the United States. The then President Bill Clinton expressed his willingness to mediate. Vajpayee was invited to Washington for a discussion. However, Vajpayee refused to accept this inviting invitation. This has prompted the United States to respond to a global police questioning, but Pakistan’s attempt to break the Shimla agreement by taking the Kashmir question to international level and interfering with the third party was averted.
