07 July :- Central Railway has suffered severe flooding due to the disruption of railway trains in Karjat-Chowk, the services of long-range express trains have been disrupted. Bhusaval – Pune Express Kalyan – On Karjat Road and Pune – Bhusaval Express is run on Daund – Manmad route. On the Kalyan-Karjat route, traffic on this route was blocked due to water accumulation at the railway track near Vitthalwadi. After the afternoon the traffic on this route was reversed, but the schedule of local trains collapsed.
Mumbai, Thane, Vasai-Virar and Raigad have been submerged with heavy rains and due to the rains, the traffic on Central Railway is delayed. Local trains on the Central Railway are delayed by 10 to 15 minutes. The traffic on this route has slowed down due to water acceleration in the Karjat-Chowk. During the Karjat tunnel and Karjat railway station, the Gondidep Society was flooded with water, and the water level on the railway track got stuck. This leads to Mumbai and Panwa via Panvel via Panvel and via Panvel, the long distance trains going to Pune via Kalyan for Mumbai and Pune. This caused a lot of commuters.
