16 July : Bhamragad : Gadchiroli : –
The connectivity of the border area of the Chhattisgarh state from South South of Gadchiroli district has been lost due to the ongoing rain in the last 10 days. On Sunday night, heavy rains caused floods in Pearlkota and Indravati rivers. Thus, the roads going to more than 70 villages along the Bhamragar of the taluka headquarters have been closed.
There is a 3-feet water flowing over the Pearlkota river which flows through Bhamragadal. River water reached the village house. Parlakota, Indravati and Pranhita are a combination of the three rivers at Bhamragarh. The possibility of getting the water of Pearlakota river in Bhamragad is expected to increase if the flow of these three rivers increases. In the same way last year, the river water was flooded in the village. Meanwhile, the Disaster Management Department is keeping an eye on the situation and the whole system with the boat is ready to face any situation.
