Gaya:25 May :- In today’s judgment in the serial bomb blast case in the Buddha’s Janasthali Bodh Gaya in 2013, the judgment will be pronounced today. NIA Court Special Judge Manoj Kumar will now decide the verdict. At present, the hearing is going on in the NIA court. Five accused were produced in the NIA court. Earlier, in the Mahabodhi Temple, the Buddhist monks for special punishment of severe punishment for the guilty and world peace.
Serial blasts were carried out in Bodh Gaya on the morning of July 7, 2013 and alive bombs were also recovered from three different places. The whole issue is being investigated by NIA, the country’s largest investigating agency. NIA had arrested six terrorists in connection with the bomb blast case, which were kept in Beauer Jail in Patna.
Prior to the decision, Buddhist monks performed special puja worship and sutta in Mahabodhi temple. The monks paid tributes to the accused for severe punishment and world peace.
In this blast, a Tibetan Buddhist monk and pilgrims of Myanmar were injured. In the Bodhgaya blast, 90 witnesses were presented by NIA. The Special Judge had reserved the decision on May 11, 2018 after the debate was concluded.
Recently, the Kolkata Police arrested a suspected member of the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) terrorist group on charges of linking the Bodhgaya bomb recovery case. The arrested accused was 20-25 years old, arrested by the Dhulia of Murshidabad district of West Bengal. It was known as Noor Alam.
