Chandrapur has started 100 medical capacity and 500 government medical colleges and hospitals and a new building is being constructed. This place will be given to the organization to be set up for the Cancer Hospital project at a nominal rate of 30 years.

A committee will be set up under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department to draft a Memorandum of Understanding for the cancer hospital project, which will be set up at the government medical college and hospital premises in Chandrapur under the Medical Education and Drugs Department. The committee will include the Additional Chief Secretary of Planning and Industry Department, Principal Secretary of Law and Justice Department and Law Adviser, Secretary of Medical Education and Drugs Department, representatives nominated by concerned stakeholders and other members as per the requirement. A special action committee (Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) will be set up in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act-2013 for its operation with the establishment of Cancer Hospital.
