The number of cancer patients in Chandrapur district is significant and they have to go to Nagpur and Mumbai for treatment. A special action committee (Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) will be set up in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act-2013 for its operation with the establishment of Cancer Hospital.
