There is a possibility that the name of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be named in the historic Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
Proposal has been placed in North Delhi Municipal Corporation for the name of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Ramlila Maidan. Four to five members of the municipal corporation have proposed this proposal and the proposal will be discussed on August 30.

According to the sources, the proposal to change the name of Ramlila Maidan will be forwarded to the concerned municipal corporation’s nominating committee. In this Naming Committee, six members, including the mayor and the opposition leader, will be discussed. Also, the Municipal Commissioner will ask the candidates for the reasons for the proposal. After that, the committee will decide to change the name of the committee after the commissioners report.
Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee died at AIIMS hospital in New Delhi, with leaders from all over the world presenting him with tributes all over the world.
