Japan started off aggressively in the first minute. In just two minutes, Japan’s top players have made two attacks on the Indian goalpost. But goalkeeper Savita and captain Rani Rampal kept the Indian goalpost alive. In the meantime, Indian players made every effort to aggressively counteract Japan. Captain Rani Rampalal eloped with a Japanese ball to rescue the ball, but the Japanese goalkeeper turned the attack off with a big shot. In the meantime, India also got a chance to score a penalty corner, but the Indian women did not get the chance. The Japanese team, however, took full advantage of the opportunity you got, taking the lead in the 11th minute to the penalty corner and take 1-0 lead in the match.

Due to the lead in the first session, Japan’s players felt a different confidence. In the second set, Indian women were playing directionless hockey in the first few minutes. Often the pass has been seen going in the wrong direction. However, Rani Rampalena once again took control of the ball with the Japanese player after having experienced her experience. Rani Rampalana entered the D-area of Japan passing the ball near Ball Navneet Kaur. Neha Goel, who saw Navneet also got the opportunity to level the goalpost in the 25th minute as Neha Goel forwarded the ball to India 1-1. With the help of this goal, India got equal number of matches till mid-on.

After matching the match, Indian women started aggressively playing in the third session. Vandana Kataria, Navneet Kaur, Rani Rampal put pressure on Japanese athletes to make good moves. However, the Indian women did not get the help of Japan’s defense through persuasion. In the initial few minutes, Japan’s women were well-equipped by an aggressive game made by Indian women. But in time, Japan itself started to attack India. After converting 44th minute penalty corners into the goal goal, Japan made a 2-1 lead in the match at the end of the third session. In the fourth session, Indian women tried to score goals but they did not succeed.
