Arvind Subramanian, chief economic adviser to Modi Government, resigns

20 June :- Arvind Subramanian, Chief Economic Advisor of the country has resigned from his post. He has been referred to personal reasons for his resignation. After the resignation, he will be going to America. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley informed about this.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley gave this information in his blog on Facebook. He told that Arvind Subramanian is going to America. They will return here in October.

Jaitley wrote in his blog, “A few days ago, the Chief Economic Advisor got me through video conferencing. They informed me that they want to go back to America to play their family responsibilities. ”

Jaitley wrote that his reasons for resignation are private, which is very important for him. They did not leave any option to me and I had to accept their resignation. ”

Arun Jaitley wrote in his blog that Arvind took the post on October 16, 2014. At the end of his term, I wanted him to remain in this position even further. He wrote that during this time he told that I am in Pasopesh with family responsibilities and the current position.

While praising Arvind in his blog, Jaitley said that his communication with the Finance Ministry, PMO and other departments of the government was very important. It was formal as well as at the informal level.

Arvind Subramanian held the post of Chief Economic Advisor in October 2014. He took the place of Raghuram Rajan. During this, Raghuram Rajan became RBI Governor.
