02 June :- Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan has admitted to betting on IPL matches. Arbaaz has confessed before the investigating officers who betrayed IPL matches. This information was given by police officers of Thane Police’s Anti-Terror Squad, who were investigating the matter.
On Friday morning, summons were sent to Arbaaz Khan’s residence in Bandra, in connection with the IPL betting scandal. Arbaal was summoned by the Thane police on Saturday for questioning. A bookie, Sonu Jalan and Arbaaz, who were arrested in this case, were questioned in front of them. Arbaaz and Sonu Jalan knew each other for the last five years.
Two days back, Thane police’s antitrust squad had arrested a notorious bookie Sonu Jalan. Arbaaz Khan’s name came out in his investigation. Sonu Jalan is said to be a man of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. The Times Now said that Arbaaz lost Rs 2.8 crore in betting. Arbaaz Sonu Jalan had to pay 3 crores. Then there was a dispute between the two. Sona gave Arbayt the threat to reveal the name if not paid, Times Now said in his report. On May 15, four people, who were running betting racket from Dombivli, were arrested.
