Election Commission has announced dates for elections in five states. Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram will be held on November 28. In Rajasthan and Telangana, the elections will be held on December 7. There will be two phases of polling in Chhattisgarh. The first phase will be held on November 12 and the second phase will be held on November 20. The results of these five states will be announced on December 11. In all these states, the code of conduct has been implemented from today. The Election Commission has given a press conference.

The first phase will be held on 12th of November in Chhattisgarh. Candidates can fill up the nominations till October 23. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is October 24. In this phase, 18 constituencies will go to polls. Polling will be held on November 20 in the remaining seats. In Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram, only one phase will be cast. Citizens from both the states will exercise their right to vote on November 28. Rajasthan and Telangana will also vote in one phase. The polling will be held on 7th December in both the states. In all these states, the results will be declared on December 11 and the results will be announced on December 11. VVPat machines will be used for voting in these five states, Chief Election Commissioner O P. Rawat gave a press conference.
