Srinagar: 19 June :- Mehbooba Mufti after the resignation of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister of the Press Conference. He said that I have sent my resignation to the governor. We had coalition under a large power. Mufti Saheb joined hands with BJP for a great cause. Mufti Sahib thought that the PM had got a huge mandate and he would do some work for the situation of Jammu and Kashmir. We took many months to interact with each other. We thought the coalition would do well. He said that we wanted to be concerned about that. People were very happy with the cease-fire during Ramzan. PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti said that we will continue to seek dialogue and reconciliation in Kashmir.

He said that we did not have this coalition for power. We have brought back the case against 11 thousand youths. Mehbooba said that force can not force any policy in J & K with force. Mehbooba Mufti said that we have told the governor that we will not support any other party. He said that we have kept Section 370 here.

Significantly, in the Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP joined the PDP in the government, broke the coalition. On both sides of the issue, there was a lot of conflict between the parties. Today, BJP President Amit Shah had called all the ministers of BJP quota in Mehbooba Mufti government and all the senior leaders of the state for an emergency meeting in Delhi. After this, the BJP announced the withdrawal of support. The letter of withdrawal of support from BJP has been handed over to the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. Mahbooba Mufti has resigned from the post. According to the information, the BJP did not allow the PDP to come to an end and withdrew its support from the government. It is believed that there was deep differences between the PDP and the BJP since the decision of the seizure was withdrawn after Ramzan.

Earlier, after the breakdown of PDP BJP coalition in Jammu and Kashmir, former state chief minister Omar Abdullah met Governor NN Vohra in Srinagar. After this, the leader of the National Conference spoke to reporters and said that our party will not go with anyone to form government in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that I want President’s rule only here. Talking to reporters, Omar Abdullah said that we had neither the 2014 mandate nor 2018. We are not going to combine anybody. I met the governor and said that the President’s rule is only in the state.

In the year 2014, for the 87-member assembly of Jammu and Kashmir, elections were held in five phases between November 25 and December 20, in which the then ruling National Conference was defeated, and the Congress-led coalition government Had to be content with only 15 seats. On the other hand, BJP won just 11 seats in 2008, this time won 25 seats in the ‘Modi wave’, and after the 52-year governor’s rule, the former Union Home Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed supported the PDP to form the government.

Remarks On March 1, 2015, the governor was again in crisis due to the death of Saeed in January 2016, and the governor had once again ruled the state. This time, after governor’s rule for 88 days, after supporting the daughter of Saheed Mehbooba Mufti, the BJP again formed the government, which has fallen on Tuesday with the announcement of a withdrawal of support.
