New Delhi: 29 June :- The Special Cell of Delhi Police has confiscated 10 kg of heroin. Almost 40 crores of substance is substituted and Hiron and two accused have been arrested. Police were investigating where the heroin was brought from and where they were taking it.
This is the second action taken in the laboratory of this year. In February, the Special Cell was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for allegedly arresting 2.5 kg Afghan heroin, who were arrested from Sector 19 in Dwarka. In March, Revenue Department Directorate (DRI) had seized 28.87 kg of heroin from Sarojini Nagar in South Delhi. In November last year, the DRI department had confiscated 52 kg of heroin. Which had an international market worth 80 crores.
