Bengaluru: 12 June :- The Karnataka Police’s SIT has arrested one of the accused in connection with the murder of social worker and journalist Gauri Lankesh in Karnataka. 26-year-old Parshuram Waghmare has been arrested.
This action has been taken in Karnataka’s Sadhgiri. Waghmare has been sent to 14-day police custody.
What was his role in the killing of Gauri Lankesh, there is no explanation about this. But after investigating the CCTV footage, Parshuram Waghmare has been predicting the primary motive for firing on Gauri Lankesh.
Journalist Gauri Lankesh was murdered outside the residence of West Bengal on September 5, 2017. The Karnataka Police had arrested four people a few days ago, in which the youth of Pune was Amol Kale.
Gauri Lankesh was the editor of ‘Lankesh Magazine’, a Kannada weekly. He raised voice against communalism and right thinking in Karnataka. Gauri Lankesh was the daughter of late Late Pankesh.
