The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Congress leader Motilal Vora, Bhupinder Singh Hooda and publisher of the National Herald newspaper, Associated Journal, about the allocation of land in Panchkula in Haryana, (AJL) filed the chargesheet against him
The Vigilance Commission had filed cheating and corruption against four officials of Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Haryana Urban Development Authority for allegedly distributing one plot to the Associated Journal Ltd., Panchkula. The investigation into this case was classified by the CBI. The case was registered under the provisions of criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal conspiracy, and the Prevention of Corruption Act.
The CBI has filed the chargesheet in the court on Saturday. The accused include Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Motilal Vora and Associated Journal of Publisher of National Herald newspaper.
What is the episode?
In the year 1982, the Associated Journals were given land at Panchkula. There was nothing built on this land till 1992. After that, the Authority once again took possession of the land. The land was allocated to the Associated Press.
