A major accident occurred on Monday (August 20th) near Kasara Ghat on Mumbai-Nashik highway. A pickup truck collided with truck near Latifwadi village and the pick-up collided with Bolero on the car standing beside the road. Two women were killed on the spot and two others were injured in this horrific accident. Both of the women who had died in the accident were standing on the road and were drinking tea. Striking both of them, Tunken took them 50 feet away. The accident was so severe that the bodies of women were shattered. Meanwhile, the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
When the bus from Mumbai to Nashik (no. MH 02 EP 9119) stopped for a tea stall at Latifwadi, the driver of the tanker was running out of control and the car collided with a tanker car and Bolero car.
Angels run for help
Meanwhile, after getting the information of the accident, members of the Disaster Management Group, Pick Infra Petrol, immediately rushed to the spot and started help. Three people were treated at different times due to this help process. As soon as the information was found, police on the Kasara police and the highway rushed to the spot. Meanwhile, Kasra Police Station officer-in-charge Kundan Jadhav, PSI Dagle is investigating further.
Neglected contractor company in accidental area
Meanwhile, the Latifwadi area at the foot of the Kasara Ghat is an accidental area and eight have been killed in this year so far. More than 50 people have been injured. Local agencies have accused the decision of pick-up Infra’s project manager Anirudh Singh not taking serious note of complaints in the areas of white stripes and speed breakers.
